I LOVE IT!!!! I'm def voting for this one. Can we make a desktop background for it too? i want that as my background!!!!!

First comment!
I like the green one! (Oh, and it's neon, so that throws Jeff's "easy-to-find-volunteer" thing out the window. Sorry, Jeff. :D)

GO PINK!! I'm not even doing it, but it would be sweet for all the volunteers to be in pink.

Ok so i really like either the pink or grey one with the grey design with the SHINE on the side.

Those t-shirts look great!
Realy, realy, cool!
Great job Chris!
And about the pink idea, I dont think the parents will trust 150 plus teen-aged boys leading there kids in pink shirts.
In the mexico youth missions trip, the boys were not allowed to wear pink at all, because it set a bad example for the kids at the orphanage.
If we want the shirts to stand out, then neon colors would be great.

Anonymous said...

Pink! Grey! And maybe blue!

Anonymous said...

I LOVE the shoulder design on the blue shirt(I like like the pink color too). I think that the shoulder design is a little more toned down, so I would wear it outside of the camp.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Jenna S., the shoulder design is very cool.
My favorite colors for the shirts are red, orange, and green.
I vote that pink does look a tad.... irresponsible?

-Jenna C.

I like the Bkack and Blue ones!
Thoses are Great Ideas! I ♥ Them!

Anonymous said...

I agree with Jenna C.! I don't like pink!

Yeah, although the pink looks neat, I think it would give the parents the wrong impression. I wouldn't want to hand off my kids to a bunch of teens (boys) in pink shirts! So, I vote for some kind of gray (we haven't done that yet) or a yellowish. If we do a blue, green, orange, or red it will be the same color as the kids... we don't want that!

I like the last design the best.

Anonymous said...

I love the shoulder design on the blue shirt! I think we should go with the neon green color. If the phillippian shirts have a darker green, then the volunteers still would not match the kids.

Please no pink! That would defidently make a wrong impression!

-Julie Barnett

yeah, the grey ones especially look cool.

I think the girl volunteers and the Eph 8 year old girls should wear the pink shirt

Hey Kendal are you 8yr?

Anonymous said...

I just had an idea... what if you made part of the "splash" or design pink? That way the people who want something pink would get it but I don't think it would leave the wrong impression and would be okay with most people...

just a thought...

Anonymous said...

ok, sence when does a color define how responsable you are??? It kinda sounds like a "mood ring" / "responsability radar" I personally don't like being covered in pink buuut i could stand a splash of pink words on say a gray shirt? I dunno... whatever works...

Anonymous said...

soooo... what happened to nick and jeff... did they like drop out of the race thinggy? 'cause chris is totally showing them up.

Anna B said...

I like the gray best - color and design. I also like the green color, but with the top yellow design.
And I don't think the verse should be on the side of the shirt (blue option), because it would make it next to impossible to read.

Dave said...

That's true.

Anonymous said...

I like the grey option the best in color and design.

Anonymous said...

I agree w/anna. the gray looks the best. The blue is really cool too. I like how they're on the bottom corner like that, but they could get pretty hard to read. i think that maybe it should be moved in more, to make it more readable.

~kylie s.

I don't think we should have the shirts be gray or black. Too hot

Anonymous said...

Oh but guys think about it!!!
we would totally stand out cuz all the kids would be in bright colors. and we wouldnt blend in!
it would be so awesome if we had the black or grey wth the grey design in pink!!!
-McKenzie K.

Anonymous said...

and another thing...
does any1 else think hat since we had yellow last year we should not have it again? I really do not like the color yellow and yeah.
-McKenzie

sean.b said...

I'm all for either of the gray ones. We haven't used the color yet (I agree with Kenzie that using the same color twice is overkill), the design is awesome, and gray wouldn't be THAT hot. Awesome job Chris!!!
-Sean B.

Allison said...

Yeah, I like the grey. It will make us stand out from all the kids. I like the center sun design a lot, but would it be possible for it to be a little smaller? It's kinda overwhelming. Also The writing on the side looks cool, but no one could read it, so that kinda defeats the purpose.

Anonymous said...

Red, grey, or pink!!!
The design should be at the bottom corner with the words on the back!
~Sophie D.
P.S. my last two color choices would be blue or green!

Anonymous said...

the blue one is deff. the best, but i was really wanting hot pink!!!

-Danielle

Anonymous said...

If you go with pink, I will custom order myself a grey one.

Elizabeth Kelley said...

:D Allow me to be cowardly as well.
Um, yeah. I was thinking, as apparently a lot of other people were before me, that if we do a coloured shirt, we'd have to change the team colours (which would be confusing).
Guys, remember that we're doing this in June, not July. It shouldn't be too terribly hot. I'm going with grey with the side apttern. And I agree with Anna... having a verse on the side wouldn't work.

Okay, I'm done now. :D

Anonymous said...

I also like the front pattern!
And ditto to Elizabeth! We can't change team colors because of our t-shirt! That is not fair! Which is why we should have grey, yellow, or pink! And we out ruled yellow because we can't use the same color twice. So it's down to grey or pink!
~Sophie D.

Elizabeth Kelley said...

Well, technically, we COULD change the team colours because of the shirts (we did it last year with the Collosians), but it would be mean (and the Galatians stay blue! :D)
65:08:10:25

Dave said...

So no one likes the green color or the front pattern very much? Oh well, they're all cool. oh i think that someone should point out that any of the shirts can change color. For example, the one shirt with the design on the shoulder and the verse on the side doesn't have to be blue. I hope that's helpful. :)

The Perducer said...

I totally dig either the gray option or the black option from the previous post

Anonymous said...

It depends if it's a lighter gray or a darker gray. If it's a dark gray, wouldn't it be a little hard to see the autographs people leave? But I'm agreeing, gray would be pretty sweet.

-Jenna C.

Anonymous said...

Oh yeah! The autographs! I change my vote! Def. pink with the bottom or front design! I really like getting autographs-even though it's pointless to get them(besides memories!)
~Sophie D.

Anonymous said...

I really like the gray design! Either have the t-shirt color be gray or orange. ;) But DEFINITELY not pink.

Really cool designs!

OOOOOKKKKKK!!! Wow, I've just spent the last hour (not really) reading through 42 comments, all have been batting around the same four questions: a) Which design looks best? b) Can we change the shirt colors? c) What are we most concerned with shirt colors? d)Which out of the above is best for the Camp?!? So let's get organized people. Respond to one of the above pairings. GO GALATIANS

Anonymous said...

b) Can we change the shirt colors: I don't think we can, but if we're going to this would be the year to decide. I think Gold for all the volunteers is a great idea. It may not be the most flattering color, but that is not the point right now people! (Remember "I AM NOT COOL"?) Gold is cheerful, it goes with all the team colors, basically it is a cool (temperature) color and it isn't gonna be problematic when wet. Also, because it is a difficult shade for many people to wear, we stood out! It was easy for parents to find us in a crowd. Gray and pink? Lots of highschoolers wear those. It would even make it easier on Security to know who should be there and who shouldn't. It worked out really well last year, our camp looked positive, and sharp, and the kids were able to sign autographs with any pen they had with them, not a specially bought silver/metallic pen. So my vote goes to the gold. If we change it, we will be duty bound to change it next year, and again and again until we run out of colors. Let's just settle, for the good of the camp and our sanity, even if it isn't our best shade, in the end, it's about serving the kids and their parents. And furthermore: GO GALATIANS!!

Anonymous said...

a) Which design looks best? My vote goes to the shoulder design. As a girl, I like where it lands, versus the lower "hem design" or "full frontal". Also, the contained explosion feels more professional than all the little rays poking out any whichway. It also leaves alot of room for autographs! Text low down doesn't bother me either... I wonder if there is another option for placement besides back center or direct side. But that's my art major talking. GO GALATIANS

Anonymous said...

THANK YOU galatians fan for taking charge of this mess... hehe ;)

Again, for all you peeps out there with an opinion, please BE SPECIFIC about what you think. I'm guessing it would serve Mr. B more if we were to organize our thoughts according to these questions:

a) Which design looks best? WHY?

b) Colors: Can we change the shirt colors? What are we most concerned with shirt colors? Which out of the above is best for the Camp (and not our personal preference)?!?

Clarification is needed people! Lets get organized.

BTW, the comments above by "galatians fan" are very helpful! Thank you! I'd love to see more posts like that...

SUMMER CELEBRATION 08!!!!!! 63 days to go! Can't wait, guys... :)

Anonymous said...

What about purple? Not a lilac purple, but a bright, neon purple with the design from the black shirt from the "67 days and counting" post, and the verse on the back.
Thanks Chris!

Anonymous said...

Purple sounds cool!

Anonymous said...

The 50th comment!

Anonymous said...

I'm not sure how well purple would stand out in a crowd, and doesn't it have the same negatives that yellow does?

Anonymous said...

I really like the blue and grey t-shirts best. I think that the neon green is kind of obnoxious...

Dave said...

I don't really like the shoulder design.

Dave said...

I'm mean it's good, but not as good as some of the others.

Elizabeth Kelley said...

Okay, here we go.

a) I'd have to say that the grey/green design looks the best. I suppose I've gotten rather attached to the side designs after we've had them a few years in a row. I tihnk there would still be room for signatures, even if you felt like getting the signature of everyone at the camp.
b) Gold did stick out last year, but I think most of these colours would (not the blue and the green, since we have blue and green teams). We wore white one year, and we stuck out well enough.
So there's my two cents on it.

Anonymous said...

Ok. So...

...I think that we shouldnt change the kids shirts just cuz we want a certain color. after all, this camp is for them. so that rules out blue, orange, red, and the other color. (not too sure on the colors.)

And light grey would be just as good as Gold, but without the weird orangy/yellow thing going on. I said this before, but we had yellow lasy year.....LAST YEAR. so can we not have it again?

Ok so my proposition would be...

...Light grey or white (so we can still write on them.) with the grey design in pink for the girls, and black or some kind of forest green for the guys.

Sorry for talking so much...

-McKenzie

Anonymous said...

Wow, that would be really cool if we had a pink side design on a gray t-shirt! (Is that what you were saying, Kenzie?) And then black print for the guys.

GO EPHESIANS!!!

~natalie

Anonymous said...

Or we could have brown shirts with pink or green designs (sort of like the colors they had for some youth event). Would brown be too hot do you guys think?

GO EPHESIANS!!

Dave said...

I don't think white's a good idea, Elizabeth. It's kind of see through.

I like the brown combination idea natelie.

PLEASE, let's not have gray.

I'm fine with yellow.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE PINK GREEN AND BLUE!!! THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THESE COLORS!!!!!

Elizabeth Kelley said...

I'm not suggesting white again, David, simply because that could be a problem. I'm just saying that the shirt doesn't have to be neon for us to be findable.
I'd be okay with a little pink, but given the size of the design, I'd rather not (I'm not a pink fan, really).
61:9:38:20

Anonymous said...

I'm not really a pink fan either. But I think pink looks good on brown.

Yeah, probably no gray. No blue, green, orange, or red, or especially PLEASE no yellow.

Anonymous said...

pink is the way best

Anna B said...

Okay, well here's my two cents.

1. As others have said, we don't necessarily need to wear a bright color in order to stand out. In fact, black or gray would probably stand out far more in a crowd of brightly-clad kids.

2. Whoever said that gold wasn't a problem when wet...um...we had gold/yellow last year, and it was a problem. Even when not wet, it was light enough to necessitate an extra shirt underneath.

3. Please can we not have any shade of yellow/gold? We had that last year, and half of us looked ill.

4. For all you who say that black or gray would be too hot and that we should have a lighter color...a single black or gray shirt would be much cooler than 2 shirts because the one is too see-through.

5. So, for my grand compromise, I think we should have gray (for the reasons listed above, as well as that we haven't had it before) with the logo in the color of the team we're on. For example, an Ephesian helper would have a gray shirt with an orange design, a Galatian helper would have gray with blue, etc. I think this would both make us stand out, satisfy the wet shirt problem, make the shirts brightly-colored and fun, and also give us team spirit and easier to find by our kids.

Anonymous said...

I totally agree with you, Anna!

1. As well as not being able to stand out among the kids in bright shirts, people might not be able to differ between, say, 10 year old girls wearing blue and especially short helpers wearing blue.

2. Yeah, can we please have something other than gold this year? It's probably going to be a hot summer (considering what it's been like this spring), and nobody will want to have to wear an extra shirt.

3. And if we had gold this year as well, I think it would get a little boring to have the same color twice.

4. Yes, one gray shirt would be less hot than two other shirts.

5. I really like the gray & orange (gray & blue, etc.) color scheme. To have the team color on the helpers' shirts would help kids know who to go to if they have a question. (And parents too!)

So there's that...hope it wasn't too long. ;)

Anonymous said...

yeah i like that idea of the team color on the shirts, but for certain reasons concerning autographs a.k.a. shirt signing, it would help if it was a light grey. or at least a lighter grey.

Anonymous said...

You're right, Kenzie...one option, though, would be for each team coach to get a silver Sharpie for each kid on their team. (I don't think that would be too expensive, right?)

Elizabeth Kelley said...

It shouldn't be, but I suppose it depends on how many kids you have on your team, too. Maybe one or two per team?
60:14:48:20

Anonymous said...

I like the pink and gray shirts. i also like the sun design on the pink shirt. i think that the green looks too neon and that the color of the pink is perfect. I think that the kids will enjoy the fact that volunteers will wear pink shirts. if we wear this color then we will always be reminded that we are not cool.
~~Mackenzie

Dave said...

Good Point MacKenzie.

Anonymous said...

I like the blue and the green i like the design on the green one too but the words on the blue stand out the most....

~Allie~

Anonymous said...

Wouldn't it be a little problem, though, if the helpers were wearing the same color t-shirt as a certain team? That's one reason why I think we should have gray.

Dave said...

I think we could change the team colors. We've done that before.

Anna B said...

Pink - NO. Do you think having all the guys wearing pink would make the parents feel better about leaving their kids for a week?

Red/green/orange/blue - no. They would conflict with the team colors, and I don't think we should change the team colors.

Yellow - NO. We've had it before. (And I personally don't like the color anyway)

This leaves...gray. It could either be dark gray with the designs in the team color, or a lighter gray to allow for optimum shirt-signing capabilities.

Anonymous said...

The colors would not conflict if they were in different shades.

-Julie

Anonymous said...

You're right, Julie, but it might be hard to find:

-Many different sizes of t-shirts
-Those sizes in four different colors
-And further two different shades of each color.

So...I really think that gray with the design in the team color would be best.

Dave said...

gray and green?! That would be kind of digusting. :)

Why does everyone like gray? What's wrong with gold? :)

Actually why don't we do the thing were the coaches have one colored shirt, and the kids have another like that one year? :)

If you guys don't like any the suggestions i just gave and won't change the team colors, I think we should have gray or pink (you have to admit the pink is pretty crazy awesome). :)

Dave said...

Oh and to everyone who said they wanted a shirt they could wear in public i don't see how gray is the answer. Pink would be cooler. WAY COOLER.

Anna B said...

Having one color for the helpers and one color for the kids worked the first year, but having different colors for the different teams has really made it better the last few years. It makes it SO MUCH EASIER for the coaches to differentiate between their team and the opposing team, and it helps the kids themselves.
That's why I think the helpers should have colored designs corresponding with their team. It would make the camp brighter and more cheerful, it would help the kids figure out if they were in the right place, and it would help parents too. I mean, if I were a little kid or the parent of a kid, I would feel much better about going up to a coach from Ephesians, or whatever team I was on, than not knowing if it was a coach from a different team.

Daniel Garay said...

guys, remember, it's not about us looking or feeling cool. it's aboout the kids having fun. Really, I think that the main thing is that the shirts have to be recognizable from the kids t-shirts.

Dave said...

True Dan. :) In which case I say yellow or pink since they're bright and easy to see (it would be fun to all wear pink, but if Mr. B decides it might give the wrong impression, then maybe the girls could wear pink and the boys wear yellow). Gray might be hard to spot, but actually I'm ok with it if that's what Mr. B picks. We just have to remember the volunteers shirts need to be:
(a) a cheerful color
(b) easy to spot
(c) cool (temp.) to wear
and as far as the design goes, they're all great. We might want to pick one that shows the design well and puts the verse in a readable place.

I like Anna's idea (or what I thought was her idea)of having t-shirts that were where one color for the kids and one for the volunteer with team colored design.

Glory to god for SC08!!!

Ok, I'm going to stop talking now. :):):)

Elizabeth Kelley said...

Yeah, I think having the trait web (for lack of a better name for it) be the team colour would make it stand out a lot more, and it would be really neat!

Anonymous said...

Gray rocks! Color and design is awesome.
I agree with my sister; green, blue and red are just not fair. We would be the same as the teams, and rather than change the team colors we could just change our colors.
And don't make them blue whatever the cost! The galation volunteers are going to go very happy and even more pro-galation if we do that.
And I would therefore lose my sanity. :)
-Kevin K.

Daniel Garay said...

kevin, you've already lost(just kidding). um grey is the best i think, with the team color logo thingy on the shoulder.

Dave said...

Gray doesn't match the feel of the camp though, guys. even though it would be cool and we wouldn't have to change team colors, it's not the right feel. :)

Elizabeth Kelley said...

Again, we did white two years ago, and it worked well. I don't think the shirt itself has to be a bright colour, per say, but maybe the trait web or something like that.
Anyhow, that's just my two cents.
54:10:30:45

Anonymous said...

Why do you think gray is not the right feel? Does it have to do with our theme verse or something?

Anonymous said...

Okay, Dave, in response to your post a little while ago:

Yellow and pink are not necessarily easy to see, because the kids wear orange, blue, green, etc., and we don't want the helper shirts to look anything relative to what the kids are wearing.

You say gray would be hard to spot, but if we have a darker gray, (like I would HIGHLY suggest) it would actually stand out SO MUCH MORE than a color like yellow or pink would.

A. If we have the team color in the design, it would fill the requirement for having a bright color, because the design is quite big and visible.

B. As I have said earlier, it is VERY EASY to spot in a crowd of brightly-dressed children. So we don't need anything any easier to spot (there isn't one, I don't think).

C. Gray isn't necessarily a cool (temp.) color to wear, but I'm thinking mostly about the girls here: as people have said before, one dark shirt is less hot than two other, lighter shirts. Maybe not so for the guys, but,...sorry. :)

If the helper shirts are going to have their team color on it, the colors would show up very well on a dark shirt like gray, whereas white-and-team-color wouldn't be as visible.

So there's that...sorry for taking so long. ;)

GO EPHESIANS!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Ok, why is everyone cheering for the team they want to win? We haven't even started yet, plus you may not even get on that team!
And what's wrong with just the gray?
I don't like the idea of team colors on shirts. It's sounds so... teamist.

Daniel Garay said...

GO COLOSSIANS!!

i don't know kevin, i guess because they lkie the teams they've been on in celebration and served(or been on) on in SC.

as for the t-shirts, i don't think any of the guys want to do black even if we're inside most of the time. black gets REALLY hot. and kelsey is right about the fact that gray would stand out more in a crowd of colorful shirts. and gray wouldn't be as hot temperature-wise than a black shirt would...

gray is still my preference and it looks like it's the majority's preference too. but whatever mr. B picks is great!

remember guys, we're there at the camp to help the kids have fun!

thanks for reading!

Dave said...

Oh well it doesn't matter that much anyway.:) but i really don't think gray's the way to go. Why pink, that would be fun? :)

Dave said...

Why NOT pink xuse me. LOL :)

Anonymous said...

you know what dave?!?! why dont you just um...simmer down dave simmer down. and also, kevin, you cant lose what you never had.

In a more serious tone, I really think gray would be he greatest!
And if y'all think its to hot, then we could have a lighter gray, and then we would still be able to sign shirts and it wouldnt be as hot.

for me personally, i wouldnt mind at all if we had black shirts, but i know that thats not gonna happen.

Daniel Garay said...

is your name really mckenny, that's such a cool name...

yeah, black would look cool, but it'll be really warm outside, and the black shirts won't really help.

gray looks good to me, maybe like mckenny(mckenzie?) said in a lighter gray.

Anonymous said...

I do not like the idea of light gray.
Dark gray is much cooler.
And David, GET A GRIP!! :)
NO PINK! It should be a law that you can't wear pink. And "Mckenny" what are you reffering to "you cant lose what you never had"?
And black isn't that hot really. It looks cooler. The only reason I'm not voting for it is because you can't see any signatures.
MAY BLACK LIVE LONG AND PROSPER! :D

One problem with light gray is that colors wouldn't really show up as well on it. (I still REALLY THINK that we should have team colors for the designs) Also, a darker gray would stand out more than a lighter gray.

So...there's my two cents. (103rd post!)

GO EPHESIANS!!!!!

Anonymous said...

I agree with Brewer, the gray would look cool, but gloomy in a way. The color should be vibrant.

Please no white!! I really didn't like it when we had it two years ago. It wasn't modest, because it was see through. The girls had to wear two shirts because of it and we had to keep from getting wet.

For the design, I like both the SC sun thing and the verse... Maybe you could put the sun on the front, and the verse on the back, that way, the verse would be totally readable, verses having them both on the sides. Just a thought.

As for color, I think the neon green or blue would be nice. I do really liek the blue, and it's definately not the same shade of blue that the Ephesians wore last year. Theirs was like a neon bluem, and crazy bright.

Okay, I'm done now.

~Monica T.

Anonymous said...

ok so crazy idea, but....what if we had either like a box on the back where poeople could sign theeur names? like a light grey or white box? or...we coul have it like faded out r somerthing. just thinking...

Daniel Garay said...

that's a prety good idea, but the thing would be that there wouldn't really be a lot of room for all the kids and friends that want to sign your shirt.

i don't know, it might work. like how big of a box were you thinking?

Elizabeth Kelley said...

Well, we might not have to have said box, if we...
a) Make the shirt a lighter grey or whatever colour we're having it
b) Use silver sharpies

I'd think a box on the back would look sort of odd, wouldn't it? I dunno... Just MHO.
49:8:49:25

Anonymous said...

Yeah, Elizabeth, that's what I mean...using the team color for the design.

Monica, gray might seem like a dull color in itself, but surrounded by hundreds of little kids in bright shirts, gray would look really awesome. PLEASE NO WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that the design placement we should use is the gray one: the one with the sunburst thing on the lower side and the verse on the back. I think that looks coolest. (Are the kids t-shirt designs gonna be the same type {as in placement} as the helpers'?)

We should definitely NOT have any color like orange, green, blue, or purple (or whatever the other color was). That would just conflict with certain teams, and it would be too confusing.

Kenz, that's a cool idea about having the box, but I do think that would look too much out of place, especially if we have the Shine verse on the back.

And as for the signing problem, can't we all just go to Office Depot and buy some silver sharpies, but have the gray color be dark?

All right, so there's my say. :)

Anonymous said...

THANK YOU Monica and Mr. Brew.....er. that's exactly my point. Gray is to dull and not cheerful, no matter WHAT shade it is. :)

And that was a good point as well cous'. The colors wouldn't show up well. Oh and Elizabeth is right, I'm not actually your cousin. I'm an impercanator!!!! HAHAHAH.

LOL :):):)

Daniel Garay said...

you are.... very... strange. Now kelsey is on the right track. we don't need the box on the back if we have silver colored sharpies. hey, gold might even work too! that would look kind of cool! but silver ones are probably better.

Hey, if anyone who knows even reads this far down, how much more would it cost to get the shirt designs to be team colours? I mean, there's not really a point in discussing team colour designs on the shirts if it's way too expensive.
Oh, and there are shades of grey between the really really dark stuff (that is almost black) and the shade that is closer to white. If we got an in-between shade of grey, then black OR silver sharpies would show up.
Just a thought.

ok so another crazy idea.....what if we had a box around the verse??? then the kids could just sign inside it. i was thinking a pretty big box...

Ok, how can a color be dull and not cheerful? That is simply the way people see it. And gray is not depressing or uncheerful! Gray is awesome.
Lemme try a different argument. Do you not wear black or any dark colors because you think they are depressing? If you do wear dark colors, why don't you do the same here?
And I don't think people go "Hmm...
That shirt color isn't vibrant enough." I would bet that the reason most people are not posting on this is because they don't really care which color we get, so a more vibrant color would not really appeal to many people, while a darker color does; gray is simply cool.
Plus, what color do you want if not gray? Please don't simply say you don't like gray and not give another option.
And please no boxes. That would look very out of place and would make shirt signing competitions very difficult.
And I simply like the gray shirt the way it is.
And Mckenzie, is your last name Tench or Kauflin?
And Daniel, make remarks like that about my sanity and you may find that I don't like you anymore!
Totally joking! <(^u^)>
Wow, that took a while!

Simmer down Kevin. you've got a nice face and you shouldn't ruin it with a frown.

No I don't not were dark colors because I think they are depressing. I might except that i think they're cool, and my opinion of their being cool influences my actions more than my thinking their depressing. But we are not talking about being cool (we ARE NOT cool) This camp is supposed to be a safe cheerful environment, and gray isn't cheerful.

Why can't we we change the team colors they were different colors last year than the year before (see Monica T's comment).

And I am offering an alternative, pink or yellow (or blue or green if you guys allow for the changing of team colors).

Mr. Brewer didn't want gray.

I REALLY DON'T WANT GRAY!!!

What about the thing were the kids have one color t-shirts and the volinteers have another. The kids could have yellow or blue and the volinteers could have blue, green or pink.

The reason no one comments on this kev is that there are 116 comments on this and people are tired of coming here.

I know!!! The girl campers could have pink and the boys could have blue and the volinteers could have green or yellow.

That would be a little confusing, Dave...and why does everyone think that gray is such an uncheerful color? It would look really cool among the kids' bright shirts. We should NOT change the team colors from: Galatians, blue; Ephesians, orange;...and I forgot the last two colors. And anyway, back to the cheerfulness of the shirts: if the design were to be in the team color, that would put a lot of color on a gray shirt (especially because the design is so big!). And no other color would stand out as well as gray, and if there was a less visible color, it would be harder for people to find the helpers.

(Oh and guys, do you even know who Kelsey is? I know Anna S. does, and Sean B. does, but anyone else?) :)

All right, guys, I think that this post should really stop. For about the last 30 comments, no new, helpful ideas have been introduced, and now people are just arguing, unwilling to give up what they think is best. I think that we've expressed how we feel, and now we should just leave it up to Mr. B and whoever else is making the final decision.

Daniel Garay said...

um dave, mckenzie is mckenzie kauflin

and anna is right, let's just leave it.

Anonymous said...

Only... where will we post now? :)

Anna B said...

Well I wasn't necessarily saying that all comments must stop right here. What I was suggesting, however, was that comments to this particular post should be limited to either brief agreements, brief disagreements, or bringing up something new. Let's not argue here about people's sanity or push our own ideas again and again.

Great idea, Anna. (That's like the first piece of sense this post has had in a while!) :)

Dave said...

I agree we should stop arguing, but anna as long as we have gotten this far, we might as well try for 200.

And I don't have any problems talking about my sanity. :)
But if we aren't going to debate which color/design are better, what will we discuss here?

Anonymous said...

And thanks Anna for pointing that out.

Dave said...

I say we discuss decorations for the lobby.

Anonymous said...

That's a good idea. What are we going to do for greeting the kids? Are we going to have any special arch or anything?

Anonymous said...

Um... I thought Mr. B. and his people
decided what we were going to use...

Daniel Garay said...

um who is are his people? are they like mr. brewer's admin team?

The Perducer said...

Who in tarnation is cheerfulbunny5?

and Mr. B is Mr. Bradshaw, not Brewer

Daniel Garay said...

no i didn't say mr.b was mr. brewer, what i asked was if mr.b's(bradshaw)people are like mr. brewer's admin team.

chris, that's kind of strong language. :)

Dave said...

It just me; i thought the name sounded funny so i put it as my user name for a bit.

The Perducer said...
