T-Shirts....

Nope, not the ones for the campers and volunteers (Those will be coming real soon) but the ones for the band.

I thought we'd give you a sneak peak to this as well! Enjoy!

45 days and counting...

Would you all like a sneak preview of the stage design for this year? Well, here it is. I'm really excited about it. The LARGE "SHINE" sign will have glow in the dark lettering. The band will be placed in front of it. Thanks to Nick Malcolm we have great kid-like graphics for the screens. The center screen will have welcome messages each day and the character trait of the day on it. Ace Leyva is working hard on developing a flash program to have the trees blow in the wind with birds and clouds moving in the background. This will bring the graphics alive. It will help give us the feel that the tree house is really in the canopy of trees. Obviously this is designed with a kid in mind and not to imitate reality.



Let me know your thoughts/ideas. There is still time to make changes.

And guess what? Only 45 days remain...I really can't wait!

The second day of Summer Celebration we will focus on the topic of Courage.

Psalm 31:24 says, "Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord." Courage simply put is "being brave enough to do what you should even when you're afraid". The Tree House Gang will help us to understand how we can be courageous and shine before men revealing godly character to a watching world.

I'm excited that we also have a great song to teach you all about courage entitled, "Do Not Fear". You can get a jump start on the song and hand motions by viewing the video below. Enjoy!
