The games from the last two years have been a huge success. Dodge ball always seems to be the favorite. Squirt was wet but refreshing in the summer heat. And what kid doesn't like capture the flag?

What games would you all choose for our teams this year?

Is Mr. C really licking that mic?

If you haven't already heard, Mr. C will be with us again this year. I better watch out for those pies of his...

Exactly 60 days and we will be having a blast!

Caleb Barker sent me a great shirt idea (Thanks Caleb!!!) What do you all think of this design? Do you have your own ideas? Send them to me - mbradshaw@covlife.org

Volunteers, thanks for your great comments on the shirts and the greeting tunnel.

Sounds like we should have a balloon tunnel at the entrance of the lobby (possibly outside).

Who can head this up and make it happen the week of the camp?

Secondly, what do we need to make it happen?

Volunteers, thanks for coming to our kickoff pizza meeting yesterday. I loved your enthusiasm!!!

I don't know if you saw it, but Juli Lackey had a group of folks dressed in Galatian blue to represent their team. I was shocked. Team spirit already. Well done.

Some stats from the meeting:
*About 200 folks expressed an interest in serving.
*47 pizzas were consumed
*Parents and all, we had about 250 peeps in attendance.

A letter will go out in the next couple of weeks to let you know how you can best serve the kids this year based on our need and the desired position you expressed on the gold flyer. Thanks for your patience.

In the meantime, let's brainstorm.

How can we do a better job greeting the kids this year? I love the tunnel but it can be overwhelming. Leave your comments.
