Day 1 of the camp (just 51 days a way, that's 1224 hours if your counting hours like me) we will learn that Gratitude is letting others know you see how they have helped you. We will take a close look at what God's Word has to say about Gratitude from 1 Thessalonians 5:18.
Thanks to Rakel Boisvert and Kristen Darnall, we have great hand motions and dance to accompany our singing.
The Tree House Gang will be busy the next 7 weeks learning these new songs and hand motions to lead you in.
You can get a jump start now by learning the hand motions/dance to "Thank You" from this teaching video found below (and yes, Rakel and Kristen are featured in the home video).

Great! Thanks!!
Is there any way that we could help with the THG? Not in the drama... I get the impression that that is pretty much full already... but in the motions by themselves? Last year there were, what, 20 people on stage doing the motions? Is there any need for people to serve in that area?
Whew! Long comment...
Thanks for asking Elizabeth. The Tree House Gang will be the only folks on stage this year leading the kids in the hand motions. Although, I'd encourage every volunteer to learn them as much as they can from the videos I'll post so that we all have a head start going into the camp.
Thanks for your support and excitement to participate in the hand motions!
Great looks cool!!! cant wait*
wow those are some pretty awesome moves!
Okay. Thanks!
pretty energetic moves...we'll have to come energized. we also will need a lot of room for some of those. and are we running in place or what?
Yeah... I was wondering - how are the kids going to do that while they're in their seat rows....?

I was practicing earlier and had an idea. I got two kitchen chairs and placed one infront of me and one behind me and then did the moves. It actually isn't that hard. When they walk all you do is walk in place.
I got my little sister, who is so excited for SC'07! to try it too and she said that it wasn't that hard.
I memorized this one its tons of fun!
I thought it'll be hard to do them in a small space, but now I'm convinced it isn't.
Yeah, I assume we're just going to have to run in place... but the THG ought to have fun... they aren't confined to rows! A lot of the time they end up just running all over the auditorium! (Actually it's only during parts of certain songs)
