The second day of Summer Celebration we will focus on the topic of Courage.
Psalm 31:24 says, "Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord." Courage simply put is "being brave enough to do what you should even when you're afraid". The Tree House Gang will help us to understand how we can be courageous and shine before men revealing godly character to a watching world.
I'm excited that we also have a great song to teach you all about courage entitled, "Do Not Fear". You can get a jump start on the song and hand motions by viewing the video below. Enjoy!

sweet! i'm the first one!
those are cool motions. really energetic, though.
fun! thanks so much to Kristen and Rakel for doing these videos so we can learn the moves!
the song's a little repetetive, and we'll need tons of space to do them. i'm not so sure about the part on your knees, though.
yea. they are fun in all but i think that we need to go simple. But if these are the motions that we are gunna be useing then that is ok.
oh yea... mike, did you choose a design for the T-shirts yet?
hahaha i got this one memorized!!! yay... i like the meaning of this song...i remeber getting scared when i was younger, and something that would help me was saying scripture that i had learned. This is even better because instead of memorizing all of those scriptures, kids can learn them while worshiping God. Now when one of those little kids gets scared they can just sing this song! Isnt God so good!
wow that was a long comment
Lol, yeah, it was ;P.
Do we have a rough idea when we'll get the shirt designs +/or colours?
what in the worldf does +/or mean?
I'm aiming for next week around Friday to have our official t-shirt design up and running.
I'm leaning towards a blue or Irish green for the volunteer shirts.
What do you think about that?
That is great!
But when you said Irish green I thought of the 4h Club t-shirt with the clover thing on it:)
What kind of blue?
I love this one! i memorized it.
wait mike is this from the CD seeds??
well its great!!
+/or would be and or or, with the first or being exclusive and the second or being inclusive, if that made any sense. If it didn't, let me put it this way.... one, the other, or both.
